Pratt, Livingstone

Livingstone Pratt's (born 1959, Nassau, The Bahamas) art practice is driven by his faith. His spiritual  paintings are colorful illustrations of nostalgia and hope.

For over 20 years, Pratt has worked as Chief Display artist at John Bull, a large luxury goods retailer in downtown Nassau, working on his paintings in the evenings and on weekends. His first solo show was in 1992, an exhibition organized by Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts, a friend and supporter throughout his career.

Though Livingstone has had a consistent practice, he has remained a self-proclaimed "low-key" member of the Bahamian art community.
