Taylor, Rembrandt

Often rendering paintings that center around exodus, religion, black kings and queens, Rembrandt Taylor is known for his intricate detail work and attention to color. His iconography often references Rastafarianism and his belief in the sovereignty of blackness. His work appears in both The D’Aguilar Art Foundation’s collection and the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas’.
